President Biden has had a mixed year in office - and faces rougher one ahead

WASHINGTON - On the eve of his first anniversary in office, President Joe Biden says he has "outperformed" expectations, making the quip on Wednesday (Jan 19) in reply to a reporter's question on his record.

In an almost two-hour press conference, he cited 210 million Americans fully vaccinated, six million new jobs, lower health insurance premiums, his American Rescue Plan and infrastructure legislation, among others.
